What our heat numbers mean, and how to pick your first jar.
Every jar carries a heat number from zero to five. One is a warm hum you notice on the second bite. Five is the one you will tell people about.
Heat in a jar builds as you eat, so start with a small spoon and go back for more. Fat and sugar soften it, which is why crisp on a fried egg feels milder than crisp on plain rice.
New to us? Start with Black Garlic Crisp, then work up to Chilli Crisp.
